New Delhi: The John Wick movie series has been underway since 2014, where Keanu Reeves made his on screen debut as the titular former hitman who is forced back into the underworld after Russian gangsters smash into his home, kill his pet, and steal his Ford Mustang. Wick resumes his murderous activities as he seeks revenge for the murder of his cherished dog.
The fourth instalment of the series is a follow-up to the 2019 film John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, which ended with John Wick and The Bowery King (Laurence Fishburne) uniting against the High Table.
Keanu Reeves is seen again in the trailer for the fourth chapter of the John Wick series. This time, though, things will be a little different because he is not seeking revenge on anyone. Instead, he is prepared to wage his own battle for freedom. This alone raises a great deal of anticipation for the fiercest combat because the death duel can turn out to be more than he had anticipated. Reeves seemed to have finally met his equal in the menacing Donnie Yen.
The trailer was released on November 10, where Reeves is seen as the Deadly Hitman, giving the audience a sneak into the action-packed battle that is set to take place.
Talking about the trailer, John and Donnie Yen’s sitting in a church, when Donnie tells the hitman, “You are going to die”. John Wick has discovered a strategy for taking down The High Table. Wick, however, must compete against the menacing-appearing Donnie Yen before he can earn his release.
This Keanu Reeves movie, whose premiere is just a few months away, seems to be full of action-packed battles and thrills. The brand-new teaser shows snippets of the perpetually outfitted and gun-toting John Wick engaging in a fight.
In a series of life-or-death confrontations for his freedom, John Wick faces off against Marquis de Gramont. How the suited assassin will subdue the High Table is still a mystery. The upcoming film is all set to feature spectacular automobile chases, gunfire-filled fights, katana duels, and other action sequences. The 2-minute trailer has successfully heightened fan expectation and boosted the excitement for the movie’s premiere.
In addition to Keanu, the film also stars Donnie Yen, Laurence Fishburne, Bill Skarsgard, and Ian McShane. The forthcoming sequel is also being directed by Chad Stahelski.
Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Stahelski are the film’s producers, and Keanu Reeves and Louise Rosner being the executive producers.
The fourth instalment, “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum,” will hit the theatres on March 24, 2023.
