Former Saturday Night Live cast member Chris Redd will be featured in the all new comedy special Chris Redd: Why Am I Like This? available to stream Nov. 3, 2022.

The stand up special will be available exclusively through HBO Max.

This will be Redd’s first ever HBO Max stand-up special.

In this special, Redd will dig into his days of living his life like a music video where he realizes that even if he’ll never be tall enough to dunk, he can still grow as a person.

Redd is not only known for his time on SNL from 2017 to early 2022, but also for his characters on shows like Disjointed and Keenan.

He even took home an Emmy for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics in 2018 for co-writing the SNL song “Come Back Barack”.

What is HBO Max?

HBO Max offers a variety of streaming options with HBO Original favorites like Game of Thrones and House of Dragon.

Plans start at $9.99 a month with ads or $14.99 a month without ads.

It also offers some of today’s favorite movies such as Elvis and the Barbarian. Subscribers can also stream Warner Brother movies the same day they premiere in theaters

Those who are looking for family-friendly content can even take advantage of HBO Max’s parental controls when creating kid profiles.
