A man shot and injured a 42-year-old who broke into his home and garage Tuesday evening, Mobile police said.
The incident happened at about 6:40 p.m. in the 100 block of North Ann Street.
“Officers discovered that the subject unlawfully entered and removed items from the victim’s residence and a detached garage,” a police statement read.
“The victim attempted to detain the subject when he became aggressive and charged toward him. The victim shot the subject causing a non-life-threatening injury.”
Johnny Bullard, 42, was taken to a hospital for treatment and then to Metro Jail.
