Omar Ayuso Is Returning to ‘Élite’ Season 7 With an All-New Cast

Posted on October 25, 2022 By Theatre Out No Comments on Omar Ayuso Is Returning to ‘Élite’ Season 7 With an All-New Cast

Omar Ayuso stans, brace yourselves.

While fans wait for season six of Élite to premiere on Netflix, the streaming service has already announced the cast of season seven, and it includes Ayuso’s big comeback to the series!

Following his introduction in season one as the character of Omar Shanaa, Ayuso was present for five entire seasons of Élite. However, he departed from the series by the end of season five and was not announced as a cast member for season six. In the meantime, some minds must have changed, because Ayuso has now been announced to join the season seven cast of Élite.

Besides Ayuso, the brand-new cast of Élite season seven includes Mirela Balic, Gleb Abrosimov, Fernando Lindez, Ivan Mendes, Maribel Verdú, and Alejandro Albarracín.

Further information about which characters these actors will play is still under wraps, of course, as the series is currently focused on promoting and airing its sixth season instead. Alas, it’s pretty noticeable that there are two older actors in this new cast that surely won’t be studying at Las Encinas. Odds are that they’ll play family members or teachers.

As for the rest of the cast, fans will have to wait to find out which actors will play LGBTQ+ characters – and perhaps a new love interest for Omar will even be introduced!?

The return of Ayuso to Élite is automatically getting viewers even more hyped up to watch season six and see how the plot will start setting up his comeback for the following season.

Élite season six premieres November 18 on Netflix.
