RRR star Jr. NTR is quite a foodie and loves to enjoy food. At the same time, his favorite delicious dish is Haleem. So let us take a quick look to prepare the dish.
Ingredients: Two teaspoons of fresh garlic paste
Five tablespoons pure urad dal
Five tablespoons unpolished chana dal
One teaspoon of red chilli or powder
One and a half teaspoons of turmeric
Two cups of yogurt (curd)
One cup of onion
Half a cup of cashews
One teaspoon of garam masala
Half teaspoon peppercorns
One pinch cinnamon stick
Half cup ghee
One cup of coriander leaves
Half cup mint
Six green chilli
water as required
Three tablespoon toor daal
Three tablespoon yellow moong dal
salt as per taste and garnish with lemon and mint.
Procedure: Firstly, soak the broken wheat or Daliya half an hour early. And trim the boneless meat to excess fat. Now boil the mutton in a pressure cooker on medium flame. Then take a pan and brown fry the onion.
Secondly, add half a tablespoon of ginger and garlic paste, salt, red chilli, garam masala, and a pinch of turmeric. Pressure cook the ingredients for a max of 8-10 min and then slow down for the next 15-20 min.
Now boil the broken wheat and dals with urad dal, chana dal, toor dal, and yellow moong with a tablespoon of ginger garlic paste, turmeric, green chillies, and black peppercorns in 8 cups of water until it is cooked properly.
Now heat the oil, add spices including cinnamon stick, cooked, shredded lamb, green chillies, and coriander leaves, and then saute for 2-3 minutes. After this, add curd and again saute for 10-15 minutes. Lastly, add three cups of water and bring it to a boil.
To this, add blended Dalia and dal mixture and then mix well with ghee as you go. And then slowly cool for another half hour. Serve hot, garnished with lemon, onion, and things you want.
