Entergalactic is an adult animated music special released on Friday, September 30, 2022. It was released alongside Kid’s Entergalactic album. It is a romantic special with light comedy. Entergalactic is directed by Fletcher Moules. It is created by Scott Mescudi and Kenya Barris and written by Ian Edelman and Maurice Williams. According to some reports, it is known that Entergalactic is dedicated to Scott Mescudi’s deceased friend, Virgil Abloh who was also the fashion designer of the outfits in the special. Sadly, he passed away from cancer in the year 2021. None of Cudi’s albums and shows have been released at the same time. The music special has explained the album in a 30-minute narrative. The animation of Entergalactic season 1 was done by DNEG Animation in London. It depicted a Black love story in animation which is not that seen in general on TV.

It has portrayed a love-at-first-sight scenario in its truest forms which is something every person whose favorite genre is Romance would like to watch. It shows new artistic concepts which the audience found interesting. The music of Entergalactic is loved by the audience. It was first decided that Entergalactic would be an episodic series, but is released as a music television special. The special has a running time of 92 minutes. The animation perfectly complements the music in every way. The Animated look of all the restaurants and bars shown, the Brooklyn Bridge, the Statue of Liberty, and the subway are commendable. Entergalactic Part 1 earned a good fan base. It has a rating of 7.5 stars on IMDb. It is a worth-watching Netflix movie. The critic compared the animation of Entergalactic with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse.

Entergalactic Part 2 Release Date

The release date of Entergalactic Part 2 hasn’t been officially announced. But there will officially be another season of Entergalactic. In one of the interviews, Mescudi was seen saying, “I’m already bouncing some ideas around for Season 2.” It is hard to predict the release date of Entergalactic Part 2. Since any work related to its season 2 hasn’t started yet, therefore, we can’t expect the release of its second season until at least September 2023 or later. If any official announcements or updates are made, we may update the same.

Entergalactic Part 1 released on Netflix on September 30, 2022. It was meant to be an episodic series but Cudi clarified on Twitter on October 1 that Entergalactic would not be designed to be binge-watched but can be seen in one sitting as it is designed in a movie format.

Entergalactic Part 2 Story

In season 2 of Entergalactic, the audience might see some more of Jabari’s friends and more of Meadow’s homegirls. We might see a lot more of Jabari and Meadow as a couple. In the second season, more hurdles may arrive in Jabari and Meadow’s relationship.

The story is taking place in Manhattan. It focuses on the lives of two artists. The love story between Jabari and Meadow is so sweet and authentic that the audience could emotionally connect to the characters. Jabari is a graffiti artist in the special who found success with a comic book deal. The age group of all the characters is about twenty-five. Their lives and struggles, therefore, interest the audience as they could relate to most of the parts. The premise of the special is quite straightforward. Season 1 is concluded with Jabari and Meadow finally getting back together.
