Bigg Boss is a show that feeds on voyeurism. Everyone who enters that damned house is aware of what they have to feed to the audience. Every contestant, more popular or less popular have to toggle their image that’s being portrayed to the outside world and the drama or entertainment they have to invoke while inside the house. How much of what the housemates portray year after year in the Bigg Boss house has been a matter of debate for a very long time. Yet another such incident of voyeurism has occurred in this season of Bigg Boss.
In the recent telecast of Bigg Boss 16, when one of the viewers blamed Nimrit Ahluwalia of forming groups only during tasks, a lot of housemates were seen voicing their opinions on the matter. Shiv Thakare said that if you are indeed in a group then that’s absolutely fine, just don’t be fake by indulging in something and still not agreeing to it. Priyanka Chahar Choudhary obviously had to butt in when it’s about Nimrit. She said, the people who are in a group are the ones who are denying it.
Sajid Khan, when asked by Shekhar Suman, said that he thinks there’s a TV vs Non TV divide that’s happening in the house, since a lot of TV stars know each other from outside. This angered a lot of TV actors and they all lashed out on Sajid for even attempting at making such a statement. Gautam Singh Vig was seen defending TV herd in the house by proclaiming a lot of them did not even know of each other. Nimrit also backed her best friend inside the house. Tina Datta called MC Stan and said, “don’t call us TV actors, we are actors.”
We saw Sajid clarifying that what he said need not be taken so seriously because their inclination towards is but natural. He added, if there are a couple directors who enter the house, he will definitely be seen more with them.
